when I saw https://ssbmtextures.com/characters/highlighter-luigi-animelee/ I thought, “hey, this is faintly the right vibe but it’s not quite there…” so I set off on my journey to do it myself. it was a bit annoying and as you can see these low-saturation palettes cause issues due to luigi’s skin color not complementing it well, it’s way darker in melee than in other iterations of luigi. same issue with the gloves. changing it was a bit of a pain but I think it came out very well! color palette mostly stolen from cream the rabbit’s sprite from sonic advance 2 which is why even though this is a pink palette swap there’s blue accents including the L
