how do i instal the shine texture, if i try to replace PIFx.dat the game crashes at the beggining
You are going to want to replace the efFxData.dat which is the textures for fox and falcos specific graphics. You can find it at the top of the file tree on datwizard if you open the dropdown for Ef_Data.dat
